Anyway, I went over to Ocean Of Fire album launch in Hard Rock Cafe in December together with Raymond and Joseph. There were many people by the time we reach the cafe. Most of the are the band member’s friends and some strangers dining over at the cafe.

Kelvyn, the band’s leader and lead guitarist invited me through Facebook. It mentioned that there going to be a big surprise, which I thought some famous local band will do the opening or something along that line.

Little did I know I’m in for a bigger unexpected surprise. Kelvyn went off stage after performing his last song. Then he went up on stage again with the band to play a love song, dedicated to his girlfriend, Marion! Halfway through the song, he went down and bring a white coloured box….and he proposed to her. What a touching that was. I couldn’t get a nice picture of that moment. Just a blur picture. Sad lar!!!

Congrats to Kelvyn!

Anyway, you guys should buy their new album. Certain songs in the album are killer man. I’m not earning a single cent promoting them ok. I think they deserve the exposure and promotion. Get their CD asap!

A bunch of crazy talented musicians!

I envy blogs that constantly updates and always evolving in terms of look and content. While dannyooi.com looks dull and not even a fly dare to draw near. It is that pathetic. The more I push myself to post something, the hellish the post it.

Since it is a new year, I guess it time is up for dannyooi.com to be laid to rest. No, I’m not closing down this blog. I’ll take sometime to revive it up. New design and better content to read. No more dull contents. No more goodie-to-shoes post. It will be Danny’s post. It will be hot, real, life transforming kind of blog post.

Ah, I nearly forgot something. Aha, as usual the new year resolution. Since it is 2010, so it shall be in tens :

1. To be the top salesperson in SCB.
I’m still fresh in this industry. Zero experience. I’m challenging myself to be the number 1 in the branch.

2. To earn more.
I want to earn more $$ to give to my Baby for her shopping and my parent’s allowances.

3. To learn more new songs (classic and comtemporary).
I’ve yet to master one damn song yet. Sigh.

4. Buy more clothes.
I think my wardrobe sucks. It is time for a revolution.

5. Pick up my guitar and practice more.
I’m lazy. I know that. But I always believe that “practice makes perfect”. Yet I still didn’t practice as much as I would love to.

6. To start teaching students.
I’m thinking of teaching guitar. I’m going to charge minimal fees. If you have people who wants to learn, please let me know.

7. To pray + read God’s word more.
I want to read the God’s word more and pray alot as well.

8. To get a new phone.
My phone is old so it is time to get a new one. Hehe

9. Bring my Baby + parents for a holiday.
I’m planning to bring my Baby and my parents for a holiday. I don’t know where we’re going or how I’m gonna to do it, but it will happen.

10. To update my blog daily.
I don’t know how many times I promise to update my blog but yet I still neglected it halfway through the race. It is time for me to stand firm to update myself. Thought of punishing myself RM10 for each day I didn’t blog.

There you go, my new year resolution. How about yours? Do you list down what you would like to have or improve in this new year? This is the first time I did this kind of thing. I believe many failed to meet all their resolution. But one thing, even though you failed to hit the sun but at least you smashed the moon. Errr, I don’t know what I’m saying. Just forget it.

Went to watch “The Storm Warriors II” with my Baby last week. The movie was so so and a waste of money. The first installment was way better than this. E-Kin and Aaron Kwok acting sucks to the max. I like the villain king, who plays by Simon Yam. He is invincible to any attacks because he has an armour jacket that is super powerful. Sadly he is easily killed by Cloud and Wind. Seriously, the storyline is abit off ler.

Anyway, a short update for the past one month. Went for sales training in KL for a month. Stayed in a 5 star hotel sponsored by Standard Charted Bank. Had a month of tough and gruesome training. Really burned me out during the paper exam and role play. I think I’ve became tougher after I came back from the “training from hell”.

Got to know alot of crazy SCB colleagues. They are a bunch of crazy fellas. Really!! Late night beer drinking and joking sessions. Miss you guys!

Just a brief update. I will update soon as my Alpha is crying to go for some photoshoots. Till then…

After having deep fried stuffs, we headed over to the rojak stall. Ordered a RM3 rojak.

The total damage for that night was less than RM30. We had a fun time together to celebrate our anniversary and at the same time it is not painful to our pockets.

Both of us went back to KL to start our new semester after a couple of weeks in Penang. We kept in contact through msn most of the time. We met again when I lost my wallet. She offered to drive me to the National Registration office to do a new one. But later that day, I got a call from the police that they found my wallet. She willingly drove me to the police station to collect it.

After that incident, we never met again till I went back to Penang for my internship. She also went back to Penang for about a week. I smsed her a message asking her out for a dinner. She agreed. Brought her out for dinner then I asked whether she wants to go to the beach. She said ok. In my heart, I thought to myself this is going to be an opportunity for me to ask her the “ultimate” question.

I remembered we went to the beach with a box of candles. We played with the candles like little kids would do. We’re like little kids trying to light up each candle. It was getting late so I told her let’s go back. While walking towards the car, I popped up that “ultimate” question. She was shocked and so do I. I can’t remember whether she said yes or ok. Whatever it was, as long she agreed to be my girlfriend, it is all that matters. Then, what happen? Aha, as many people says, The rest is history.

We’ve “on-ed” for more than 2 years already. It not a big achievement compare to other couples but I’m glad that we made it this far. I believe there are more anniversaries to come for both of us. Amen!

Went to Tropical Spice Garden together with my bro and KV for a photoshoot last Saturday. It was so hot that we all sweat like a pig. Nevertheless it was fun because it is my first doing a photoshoot using a dslr camera, my new Sony A230.

After savings for few months, I finally got myself a new Sony A230. It is an entry level dslr camera. I can’t afford the mid range ones and I’m still a newbie in the photography world, so an entry level one will suit me just nice for now.

My Alpha…

I got my Sony A230 from Click “N” Snap in Komtar. A lot of people get their camera and accessories from there too. Anyway, I managed to negotiate and bargain for extra stuffs and upgrades. In the end I got myself a free upgrade from 2GB to 4Gb SD Memory Card and a cleaning kit.
